Cognigen Agent Profile - Chuck Anthony - Your Cognigen Business Is What You Make It
I have been self-employed and self sufficient now for over 20 years. I will not work for anyone but me.
My first business was as a Janitorial Contractor---it was cheap, no large capital outlay or other requirements to get started. I began by knocking on doors to find contracts.
Down through the years though I have always kept my eyes open for other opportunities. However, network marketing was not one of them. To me, network marketing was Amway -- that is, you sold things to your friends that they did not want for more than they could get it somewhere else. Nevertheless, in the late 1990's I was introduced to a company called ACN (American Communications Network) by a very successful businessman that I knew. Because of who he was, I listened. And because of who he was, I joined. Actually the concept made a lot of sense to me. I thought: "THIS was NOT Amway. Here is something that people use everyday anyway (long-distance phone service) and I can put them in a better position by giving it to them cheaper." And what was intriguing was that it promised a residual income. That is, do something one time (get them to use my long-distance company) and get paid month after month and year after year for as long as they used the service.
My introduction to ACN changed my whole mind-set forever on how to create income. I was sold on the idea of telecommunications and residual income. However, I came to find that while ACN preached the residual income ideal, in reality most of the income paid to agents was produced off the fees ($500 to join) charged to others you recruited into your downline.
Eventually, I began searching for a company that would fulfill the concept ACN had planted in my mind. My search ended with Cognigen. It was exactly what I was looking for. I found the people at the top, in particular Kevin Anderson and Robert Probst, to be of the moral caliber of individuals that I wanted to be in business with. AND this was a telecommunications company, it promised residual income and it was FREE to join. Basically it was:"Do you want to go to work? Well here it is, we are not going to charge you for the opportunity."
How do you want to build your business? You choose! What product do you want to promote? You choose! Are you good with the computer or are you good with people? Do you like sales or do you like to produce leads? Do you want to build an organization (here you can have an attitude--it's FREE! so just take the people that want to go to work) or do you want to be a one man show? Again, you choose! Cognigen is such that you can build the business the way that best suits you, your desires and personality.
For me it has been great! I like sales and contact with people. That is my strong suit. I am weaker in marketing and lead production. So my focus has been with ShopforT1. Someone else creates the lead --- I create the sale. It is a perfect match.
Today Cognigen produces enough income each month to pay my mortgage. I plan to triple that by the end of the year. Unlike many of the other companies out there that make promises, Cognigen is a real opportunity that will work for real people.
